Manitoba has welcomed a new locally owned tour operator with the launch of Toba Tripper, a 100% woman-owned tourism company created to help visitors and Manitobans discover more of the province.

Founded by Manitoba adventurer, photographer and tourism professional Desiree Rantala, Toba Tripper plans, coordinates and personally delivers curated experiences throughout Manitoba. The company offers day trips, private and custom tours, VIP hosting and professional logistics services for local, national and international guests.

With a focus on authentic experiences and local knowledge, Toba Tripper aims to make exploring Manitoba more accessible while contributing to the province's tourism and economic development sector. Experiences are designed to connect guests with Manitoba's landscapes, communities, culture, businesses and four distinct seasons.

“It’s certainly an ambitious task, but one I’m willing to take on,” says Rantala, Owner and Lead Guide of Toba Tripper. “I want to give back to my home province and make it possible for others to see what I see. Manitoba is such an underrated, beautiful province, and there is so much to discover. I’m excited to create experiences that encourage people to slow down, get curious and see Manitoba from a different perspective. I see alot of potential in this business venture"

Operating year-round and proudly operating on Treaty One Territory in Winnipeg, Toba Tripper is guided by three core values: Connection, Inclusion and Stewardship. The company is committed to supporting local businesses, respecting the land and encouraging meaningful exploration of Manitoba while creating welcoming experiences for a diverse range of guests. Toba Tripper's first tours consist of day excursions plans to incorporate overnight trips in the coming weeks, followed by winter experiences and tours. Guests can currently take advantage of three diverse tour offerings: Icelanders in the Interlake, Journey to the Centre of Canada or Photographing Wildlife and Natural Wonder in Winnipeg.

From a day spent exploring Manitoba's natural landscapes to a customized itinerary created for an out-of-province visitor, Toba Tripper's goal is simple: to help people experience more of Manitoba, one trip at a time.
